SPED 5337: Assessment: Disability and Cultural/Linguistic Factors
Focuses on foundations and applications of social, emotional, and behavioral assessment to implement MTSS with students with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
EDPC 5310: Applied Research Design for Educators
Focuses on the foundations of evidence-based practices and validated assessments and applications for designing high-quality research in public school settings
EDPC 5321: School Counseling
Focuses on the foundational and contextual dimensions of the school counseling profession as well as the various activities that counselors engage in the school system
EDPC 5362: Counseling Children, Adolescents, and Their Families
Focuses on the dynamics, problems, and practical aspects underlying the behavior of children, adolescents, and their families; provides a wide variety of interventions and treatments
SPED (TBD): Multi-Tiered Supports for Students with Disabilities who have High Intensity Mental Health Needs
Focuses on foundations and applications of evidence based SEL interventions within MTSS with students with disabilities who have high intensity mental health needs
